About the Artist:
Born in Sydney, Glo’s ambition as a child was to become an Artist.  Colouring in and drawing were to occupy her till she started her studies at the National Art School at East Sydney for 4 years, than worked in advertising as a graphic artist and illustrator. A professional Artist since l985, her works depict a variety of subjects from Australian fauna, underwater themes, landscapes, portraits, figurative work, birds, and animals.  Initially she painted with oils but later found water colour gave her a lot more scope. The addition of inks, pastels, pencils, and collage were very rewarding.
