Beryl Aylett transitioned from teaching to become a full-time artist and also writes and illustrates children’s books. Her beautiful oil paintings of our local area are vibrant and well worth a visit to the gallery. During a recent exhibition at panthers her piece “Whaling around Port” received Channel 7 local television time as the centrepiece for advertising the exhibition.

Katrina Narasimhan is a self-taught artist in the new artform, acrylic pour. She has a passion for all things arts and crafts. She started her artistic journey in cross stitch, which was taught by her grandmother and is a keen photographer in her spare time. Katrina has been honing her skills in this medium for 3 years and is inspired by Dutch artist Rinske Douna and Australian artist Shelee Carruthers.

    Hello….I have just read about Neil Brown and his art exhibition at your gallery until end of August…..due fo current lockdown will you be extending that time frame to view?…..also I am considering asking him to commission an artwork for me and wish to know if he is ever in attendance at the gallery?….if not…..do you have any details of where to contact him?…..Thank you…..Marilyn Natty
